Pain management
We provide a range of pain management treatments exclusive to Perth
Managing pain wears you down over time—it has a dramatic impact on your ability to lead a normal life. You might even conclude that pain management is going to be a ‘normal’ part of your life, accompanied by a long-held belief that “it’s just the way it is”.
Pain is the last signal your body gives you when something’s not functioning correctly. That means that by the time you’re hurting, your whole body has been compensating in other areas to support the weak area. Those nagging pains in one area lead to others, limiting your focus, energy, mood, mobility and general feeling of ease. It doesn’t have to be that way.
We’ve helped hundreds of people resume to living lives they love through our highly effective pain management therapies. Our pain management techniques are exclusive to Perth and the whole of Australia.
We believe we are one of the leading providers of acute and chronic pain management due to the countless (and continuing) success stories from our patients who have been quite astounded at their results. People travel far and wide to our Perth clinic because they get results they’ve not found elsewhere.

Here’s how we do it and why it works
When your body is restricted due to ongoing pain, your brain signals to other parts of the body to compensate for the restricted areas. This results in other smaller, related body parts overworking in order to ‘protect’ the injured or painful areas.
Eventually, pain can move to other body parts, masking the root cause of the problem and increasing the likelihood of recurrence if it’s not treated accurately. We use a combination of diagnostic methods to identify the origin of your pain as precisely as possible, then blend some (or all) of the following pain management treatments.

Pain management treatments include:
Biodynamic impulsation and muscle activation
You may not have heard of biodynamic impulsation because we are the only natural health clinic in Perth (and Australia) to offer this treatment. Both biodynamic impulsation and muscle activation are manual pain management techniques that incorporate the testing of the strength of specific muscles that are required for posture, stabilisation and movement.
When these muscles are weak, your body has no option but to compensate—this results in other muscles being recruited to assist, which can lead to muscle tightening and pain. Reducing pain requires stimulation or activation of the correct muscles, followed by correcting how your central nervous system perceives the messages coming up from the peripheral nervous system.
It’s therefore crucial to firstly correct your muscle function, then reduce muscle spasms, which then restores the integrity of the system that could be causing the pain. This then allows for improved alignment of the joints and therefore improved movement at the joint. Additionally, treating the circulatory and lymphatic systems is important for reducing swelling and activating the body’s natural healing ability to further reduce pain.

Dry needling
This is an increasingly effective and proven method using super-fine needles—and no, it doesn’t hurt (liken the sensation to lightly touching a sewing pin). Dry needling stimulates a trigger point or zone, releasing taut muscle bands to diminish localised pain, inflammation and injuries.
Nutritional medicine
Over many years treating our patients, we’ve repeatedly witnessed that certain elements of diet and nutrition have a phenomenal effect on the reduction of acute and chronic pain. This has also helped them move beyond their long-suffered side effects of being in pain such as anxiety and depression.
